NAVLE Applicants
Effective immediately, beginning with the fall 2010 administration of the NAVLE, Texas no longer accepts NAVLE applications directly forwarded to the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners for processing and scheduling. You must apply for the NAVLE (North American Veterinary Licensing Examination) through the NBVME (National Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners). This applies to all eligible applicants. Even if you wish to “apply through” Texas and Texas is your chosen state to which the initial score report is sent without a fee, you must apply through the NBVME. Please click on the following link to accomplish this: www.nbvme.org and follow ALL of their directives.
DO NOT SEND THE NAVLE APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS BOARD OF VETERINARY MEDICAL EXAMINERS. IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND YOU MAY MISS A CRITICAL DEADLINE.
